DAS Achieve the Top-Three Places in Ibda’a 2016 Olympiad

Ibdaa2016

Organized by King Abdulaziz and his Companions Foundation for Giftedness & Creativity (Mawhiba), in partnership with the Ministry of Education, the Kingdom -wide National Olympiad for Scientific Creativity for 2016,– Innovation and Scientific Research Fields, took place from March 3-5, at Princess Nourah University in Riyadh.
148 male and female students took part in this round of the Olympiad with 120 scientific projects. 1 male student and 4 from female students from Dhahran Ahliyya Schools qualified to take part in this round with a total of 5 scientific projects after passing the three phases of electronic evaluation along with the region-wide electronic nominations.
Proceeding to their victory at the level of the Eastern Province, 3 DAS students won the top-three places and qualified to compete and represent DAS and our Kingdom in the World-Wide Intel International Science and Engineering Fair (Intel ISEF 2016), which will take place in Phoenix, Arizona, USA.
