  • MAWHIBA Summer Program (OXMEDICA)

    OXMEDICA is one of the summer program offered by King Abdul-Aziz and his Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity (MAWHIBA). This program focuses on students from grade 9 until grade 12. It gives them university advanced classes and an overview about different fields of work. The program took place from July 29 – August 19, 2017, at King Saud University in Riyadh. Students were introduced to different fields of work including; medical sciences, chemical engineering, biochemical, biotechnology, IT security, robotics, program designing and space science.   • First Place for the Highest Performance in Punctuality

    Dhahran Ahliyya, Elementary, Intermediate and Secondary Schools, Girls’ section, received the award of; First Place for the Highest Performance in School Punctualityon the level of Al Khobar This award came as a part of the “Pioneers of Change 2030” competition that took place on Wednesday, October 18, 2017, attended by Mr. Sulaiman Al Thuniyan, the Governor of Khobar. It represents an important step for us in fulfilling Dhahran Ahliyya’s mission in shaping aware generations who acquire successful life and work skills including discipline, commitment and respecting time. We would like to congratulate DAS employees, parents and our students for their sincere efforts that led to this achievement.
  • Saudi Research Science Institute (SRSI)

    Four Dhahran Ahliyya’s grade 11 students qualified among hundreds of applicants to join MAWHIBA International Summer Programs for summer 2017 from July 9th -July 15th, 2017 in the Saudi Research Science Institute (SRSI) at King Abdullah University for Science and Technology (KAUST). KAUST adopted this program from MIT University, USA for the purpose of preparing Saudi students to enroll in the top international universities. It aims at boosting high school students’ research abilities in fields of Math, Science and Engineering. The students get to the opportunity to be trained by scientists and experts in the fields.   • DAS Male Students Compete in “MAWHOOB” Competition for Math and Science National Olympiad

    Seven DAS students participated in the Kingdom-wide MAWHOOB” Competition for Math and Science National Olympiad for Elementary and Intermediate students 2017/2018.   • Ghada Al Shamekh Receives the First Place in the “Short Movies Competition” on the level of Khobar

    Ghada Al Shamekh, DAS grade 10 students, has qualified to join the “Artistic Design Competition”, stream of Short Movies. The competition took place on Friday, November 3, 2017. Ghada received the First Place in the competition on the level of Khobar. Ghada’s short movie “Khafaya” highlights the social pressures. Mrs. Rana Abdullah, the Computer teacher, supervised Ghada in the production of her short movie. Congratulations for Ghada wishing her the best of luck in the next round of the competition
  • DAS Female Students Ranked Two Places of the Top Ten in the Math and Science National Olympiad

  • National Competition for Arabic Spelling and Dictation

    Coinciding with the Arabic Language Day, the Ministry of Education launched the 2017 National Competition for Arabic Spelling and Dictation. Lama Nasha’t Bukhari from grade 3 qualified to participate in the competition. Lama received the “First Place on the level of Khobar in the Dictation Competition”. Congratulations for Lama and for our school this achievement . We would like to thank Mrs. Amal Al Masri for her effort in following up and supporting the students. Congratulations.
  • DAS Qiyas Achievement

    We are proud to announce that DAS students in the Girls’ Section won the Top Placements in the Qiyas General Aptitude (Qudarat) and Tahseeli Tests for 3 consecutive years among all the government and private schools Kingdom-wide for the year 2016/2017 as follows: Our students in the Muqrarrat stream (Elmy and Adabi) won the First Place Kingdom wide in the General Aptitude Tests (Qudarat).Our students in the American Diploma stream won the Third Place Kingdom wide in the General Aptitude Tests (Qudarat).Our students in the Muqrarrat stream (Elmy) won the First Place Kingdom wide in the Tahseeli Tests.   • Best Design and Programing in the Eastern Province

    FIRST LEGO LEAGUE "Iyad al Qatari, Abdullah Alsaja, Majed Elbreiki, Basel Alhowaider, Husam alhowaider, Hamid Alhazli and Talal Altelmesani" won the Best Design and Programing in the Eastern Province -First Lego league.In their competition at the level of Eastern Province, they represented Dhahran Ahliyya Schools intermediate students on Wednesday, 14 December 2017 at Manarat School in Khobar. Consequently, the DAS team qualified to participate in the Kindom wide competition to be held in Riyadh later this year.We congratulate DAS students, parents and community and wish them the best of luck for their future competitions.
  • Third Place in the winter Olympiad 2018

    Through King Abdulaziz and his Companions Foundation for Giftedness & Creativity (Mawhiba) for Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics.5 DAS students qualified and participate in the 2018 winter Olympiad Kingdom wide competition held in Riyadh from 11 January to 20 January for the level 1 and 2. Two students“ Jenna Al Dossary and Jude Majid Alotaibi” from the 6th grade came in the 3rd place among the male and female participants and qualified to participate in later competitionsCongratulations to DA S and our students for this achievement wishing them the best in their future participations.
  • Gold Medal and Best program and Design

    DAS Robot high school team won the gold medal in the SUMO field and the Best Besign and Programming Award in the 2018 National Robotics Olympiad.Three teams from our schools participated in the intermediate and secondary competition sponsored by the Activities Department in al Khobar Educational Office.   • Grade 10 Students Join MISK Program

    It is with great honor DAS announces that 10 students of its Grade 10 students have been awarded full scholarship from MISK Program. The students are: Noor Al Gharib Nora Al Dossary Nujood Al Sherida Rawnd Ghazzawi Yasmine Al Nutaify Ghada Al Habib Haya Al Ashban Lama Al Jama Layan Al Fawaz Leena Al Zayer This program is an opportunity to prepare Saudi male and female grade 10 students for their university lives." MISK Foundation" is a non-profit foundation devoted to cultivating learning and leadership in Saudi Arabia. DAS students will join a 2-year-progrm. This program is designed to provide them with necessary skills and the personal profile that support their success. The programs will take place in prestigious universities such as; Harvard University and Massachusetts Institute of Technology. The students will also join a seven-week-summer program in USA or UK to prepare them for the universities in the future. Congratulations.
  • 2018 Kangaroo Mathematics International Competition

  • Joud Al Otaibi Receives the Silver Medal in the 2018 Math Olympiad Spring Forum

    As part of the International Training Program from King Abdul-Aziz and his Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity (MAWHIBA), a group of DAS students qualified to participate in the Kingdom-Wide Spring Forum for Math Olympiad took place on March 22-31, 2018. Jana Al Dossary - Grade 6Joud Al Otaibi- Grade 6Fatima Al Jama - Grade 7 We are proud that Joud Al Otaibi received the silver medal and the second place on the level of the Kingdom in the forum. Moreover, all our students qualified for the next summer forum.
  • 2018 Kangaroo Mathematics International Competition

  • Yazan Al Mutalq Wins the Fourth Place in UC Mas Competition

    Yazan Musaed Al Mutlaq/ grade 1 DAS student won the Fourth Place in the Kingdom-wide UC Mass Competition for Mental Arithmetic System. The competition took place in Makkah.Congratulations for Yazan wishing him the best of luck.
