A Global Distinction Placing DAS Among the World’s Finest Schools
Dhahran Ahliyya Schools earned a well-deserved recognition from Cognia: the 2024 Schools of Distinction Award, honoring its excellence in education.
The true value of this recognition lies in its rarity. During the 2023–2024 school year, Cognia conducted approximately 1,952 accreditation reviews worldwide, yet only 60 institutions earned the title of Schools of Distinction, representing just 3% globally.
This select group comprises 41 schools and 11 systems in the United States, along with only eight international schools across five countries worldwide: two in Saudi Arabia, three in the UAE, and one each in Jordan, Canada, and Mexico.
For Dhahran Ahliyya Schools to stand as one of these two schools in the Kingdom, among such a limited global elite, is a badge of pride that reflects the depth of our commitment to quality and our standing among the world’s most distinguished schools.
This excellence is reflected in our Institutional Effectiveness & Quality (IEQ) score of 390, well above Cognia’s network average of 253.
