Grade 10 students undertake the Personal Project as a key component of the Middle Years Programme (MYP), engaging in an extended learning experience that develops their self-management, research, and creative thinking skills. Each student selects a topic aligned with their personal interests and works toward creating a final product, a written report, and an exhibition that showcase their achievements and efforts throughout the project journey.
The Personal Project provides students with a meaningful opportunity to connect academic learning with their own experiences and passions. Through an inquiry-based process, students learn to formulate questions, analyze information, and develop innovative solutions. Selected projects are featured in the Mid-Personal Project Exhibition, which serves as a platform to highlight students’ progress and accomplishments while giving them the opportunity to share their ideas with peers and parents.
This program promotes deep learning, strengthens critical and creative thinking, and enhances communication and time-management skills. It also fosters student independence and supports informed decision-making throughout their educational journey.
