• Elementary School Principal

Dr. Abdul Mohsen will lead the classes in our schools from third to seventh grade in the boys' section. These classes include the Primary Years Programme (PYP) and the first two years of the Middle Years Programme (MYP).

Dr. Abdul Mohsen has extensive experience in educational leadership, educational policy, curriculum development, and English language teaching. His CV reflects a comprehensive background in educational leadership, spanning over 17 years across various educational levels. He holds a PhD and a master’s degree in educational leadership and educational policy from the University of Northern Colorado in the USA, as well as a secondary PhD in Applied Statistics and Research Methods, and a bachelor’s degree in English Language Teaching. This underscores his commitment to enhancing excellence in education through innovative teaching methodologies. His specific focus during his master’s and PhD studies is on educational leadership for bilingual students. While in the USA, he served as a principal in several elementary schools in Colorado, focusing his research and professional efforts on bilingual students. He also worked at the International Students Center at the University of Northern Colorado and was the president of the Saudi Students Club at the university.

In Saudi Arabia, his experience includes various educational and leadership roles at different levels, having served as both principal of elementary and middle schools. He worked as an assistant professor at the Saudi Electronic University and made significant contributions to organizing workshops, training courses, and community service initiatives with several governmental institutions, showcasing his strong communication and leadership skills.

Additionally, Dr. Al-Sulaiman has published various research articles in educational administration journals and has received recognition for his leadership and academic achievements from the university and the Saudi Cultural Attaché in the USA.

Dr. Abdul Mohsen is passionate about education, learning, and continuous development. He believes in the importance of strategic planning and teamwork to achieve the vision of Dhahran Schools, which aims to provide world-class education with an Arab Islamic identity through a sustainable and socially responsible learning community, ensuring that this year is better than the last.

• Intermediate and Secondary Principal

Mrs. Lama Nasser Al-Akkas is the intermediate and high School principal at Dhahran Ahliyya Schools and holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Language. With over twenty years in education, she has significantly contributed to the field through various roles, 

starting as an English teacher for both secondary and elementary levels, before becoming an educational supervisor at the Education Office in Al-Khobar.

Throughout her career, Mrs. Al-Akkas engaged in numerous programs aimed at educational development, including judging Ministerial Competitions, overseeing standardized tests, and supporting educational initiatives within schools. She trained English teachers at the Education Office in Khobar and the Education Department in Dammam and participated in workshops to modify English language curricula.
Additionally, she taught students in the Mawhiba program, guiding them in project presentations in English and translating materials. Mrs. Al-Akkas has attended various educational conferences and workshops focused on enhancing English teaching and overall educational advancement in the region.

She played a pivotal role in developing a strategic plan outlining key educational objectives for Elementary English Education. As one of the initial leaders in implementing the Masaraat System at the secondary level, she was instrumental in establishing the program and training teachers, students, and parents on its fundamentals.

Additionally, she oversaw students in aptitude and achievement tests and their enrollment in the MISK program. She also participated in training for both international and local competitions, including robot contests, scientific creativity challenges, and various Olympiads such as the Hippo and Kangaroo contests, along with numerous sports competitions, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and the Saudi Sports Federation.

• Innovation & Technology Consultant

Mr. Ashraf Hamad is a consultant in informatics and technology development that offers services to support the administrative, educational and learning process through all school fields in both schools, Girls School and Boys School.

He is a bilingual educator with an experience that exceeds twenty years as a specialist in Computer Science, an educational coordinator and a trainer in educational development and reformation.
Mr. Ashraf was raised in The United Arab Emirates by educated parents (both are teachers). He grew up in such a rich environment surrounded by teachers and educators which greatly influenced his perception about the importance of education and learning on the future of nations and communities.
He moved to The United States of America, to complete his education immediately after graduating from high school with honors when he was 18 years old, where he proceed with his education at The University of North Carolina in Charlotte City. He earned his B.S. Degree in Computer Science majored in Statistics in 2001.
In his first job he was involved in designing and developing Web Pages in a small company in Charlotte City, North Carolina State. In the following years, he worked as a regional manager in the industrial services field. He moved all over the east coast of The United States to train and lead the company’s employees which constantly fuel his passion for education and learning after every professional learning courses he used to conduct. Throughout his training courses, he has always sought to clarify and join between the most recent developments in technology and the organization’s goals. In addition to that, his training courses have always been motivating and therefore enhancing positive interaction between staff and administration.
