Mohammed A. Al-Shehri is currently the Director of Academic Programs & Partnerships Department in Saudi Aramco. His responsibilities include overseeing Saudi Aramco’s diverse portfolio of professional development programs under the company’s Corporate Academy.
This is in addition to many outreach programs for the local community in partnership with many stakeholders in government and private sectors.
Mohammed’s role extends to cover the scholarship programs for Saudi Aramco at undergraduate and graduate level which has over 2200 participants in more than 15 countries with several offices globally such as in Australia, Singapore, USA, and UK. This encompasses building strong and strategic partnerships with world renowned universities to deliver high quality programs for Saudi Aramco. This is in addition to overseeing general education partnerships with MOE and Mawhiba in running various programs for intermediate and high schools’ students.
Mohammed held several positions in Saudi Aramco. He was the acting directors for Industrial Training Department and Local Workforce Development Department. Before that, he was the manager of several positions such as Academic Programs Division, University Relations Division, Industrial Certification Division, and Training and Development Support Division. He worked at Saudi Aramco global offices in London, United Kingdom and Houston, USA.
Mohammed serves on the board of directors of Shamah Autism Center and Tamakon Austism Association in Madina. He is also a member of the advisorغ board for Ajyal Center for Comprehensive Education and Learning (ACCEL) which was built by Saudi Aramco to provide high quality educational and behavioral programs to individuals with special needs.
Mohammed earned his bachelor degree in Human Resources Management from California State University, Long Beach, and Master Degree in Human Resources Management and Development from University of Manchester. He completed several management and leadership programs from top institutions such as Stanford University and London Business School.
