Khalid currently serves as Vice President of Public Affairs at Aramco, where he leads efforts to manage the corporation’s global brand, reputation, and influence through external communications channels.
He was the Director of Corporate Communication in the lead-up to the IPO and helped craft the strategy to raise Aramco’s profile on the world stage. In support of that work, he has also undertaken a transformation of the Corporate Communications function to ensure that it remains at the forefront of the industry practices and leverages opportunities in the rapidly evolving digital landscape.
Khalid began his career as an engineer, with a focus on developing and deploying technical solutions to improve safety, reliability, and efficiency. As a project manager, he played a key leadership role in implementing three megaprojects valued at more than $16 billion. He later oversaw operations at some of Aramco’s most complex facilities, helping to maintain the company’s uninterrupted supply of energy to the world.
